 The Renovation of our North and South Pool wings are progressing well and will definitely be on line by the first of June as anticipated.
On completion of the project all Superior Rooms will become "DELUXE" and all Superior Pool View Rooms will become "DELUXE POOL VIEW". The remaining un refurbished rooms will all remain Superior
The new rooms will have been completely redesigned . The deluxe rooms will now boast a rain shower and the family rooms, a bathtub and  massage shower. The new family rooms now offer more privacy with a partial partition and bunk beds with a trundle bed now accommodating 3 in this newly created section and two in the master king bed, so a total of 5 people can be accommodated. All rooms have been totally remodeled from floor to ceiling and doors with new furniture, flat screen LCD TVs and the introduction of DVD players as standard.
The renovation will bring about the availability of extra interconnecting rooms, which are a firm favourite with families.

Easter Bunny Party

 Easter Sunday attracted over 50 Children to our Easter Bunny Party held at the Resorts Inner Garden.
The Kids began the party with a grand Egg hunt throughout the hotel garden, the Kids were rewarded with candies and the winners received Chocolate Eggs and Bunnies as prizes.
Then it was time for the children to show just how talented they are with a Egg painting Competition. The judges were hard pressed to find an  eventual winner who was presented with more great prizes.
The Easter Clown then made a surprise visit and everyone received an animal balloon.
The morning was made complete with a slap up Lunch and Ice cream.Yummy!

Besaki Temple

 During the month of April, many Balinese organized their annual pilgrimage to pay homage to what is widely referred to as the "Mother Temple" of Hinduism in Bali, Besakih Temple
Situated on the slopes of Mount Agung the temple was first constructed more than 1000 years ago and has been proposed to be added as a member of the World Cultural Heritage List, to which Indonesia boasts three other national cultural sites namely Borobudur Temple,  Prambanan Temple and Sangiran Archaeological Site.
Besakih consists of five temple compounds around a main temple which represents the five holy directions. Other compounds honor the founding father of Besakih temple, Sri Markandya, and Basuki, a holy guardian dragon believed to dwell in a cave on nearby Mount Agung.
The temple symbolizes an influential religious icon that unifies thousands of different castes of Hindu followers from Bali and beyond.
Being the Mother temple, Besakihi is the site of Bali's biggest and most complex purification ritual Eka Dasa Rudra which is held once a century.

 The third annual MRA Bali International Triathlon will take place on June 28, 2009 at the Four Seasons Resort at Jimbaran Bay. This Olympic distance event, the only triathlon ever to be held in Bali, is a unique destination race combining a luxurious race setting with a challenging course. Be among the first to complete a race sure to grow in popularity and athlete participation.
Each participating athlete will be provided with the following:

Our Employee of the Month Front of the House this Month is Ketut Suwitera or Era to his friends. Era is quite a familiar face in our Housekeeping Department.
A father of 2 Children, Era has been with Bali Dynasty Resort since 1991 and is a football crazy guy according to his friends. Look out for Era the next time you call Housekeeping.
Just recently married, our Employee of the Month Heart of the House is Luh Beti Suaniasih or better known to all the Front Office staff as Beti.
Beti is Pak Sumas, our Front Office Managers right hand man, or should we say girl.
Beti has only been with Bali Dynasty Resort for just over one year but has become a popular member of staff with both guests and hotel staff.
Our Supervisor of the Quarter for the period of January to March 2009 is Nengah Nasti Riandani, better known to all at the Reception desk as Nasti. Working in the Front Office Department, Nasti is probably one of the first staff you will meet when you check in. Nasti has 2 Children and has been working at the Bali Dynasty resort since 1996. Congratulations from us all to Nasti.
 Last, but not least, our Guest Nomination this Month goes to Ketut Sukarmi, better known to you all as Amy, from the Kids Club.
Amy is the creative Kids Club Supervisor and the one that gets all the Kids motivated and ready for a full day of Activities.
Now working in the Recreation Department, Amy has 3 Children of her own and has been at the Bali Dynasty Resort since 2002.
