The Bali Dynasty Resort provides an in house Doctor on call 24 hours, but in some cases the Doctor will advise guests to be taken to BIMC (Bali International Medical Centre), the Resort’s recommended Medical Center.
Bali International Medical Centre (BIMC) was officially opened on 27th July 1998 and was established to provide an excellent primary health care service for tourists, travelers and expatriates living in Bali.
Australian, English, American, New Zealand, Japanese, and Indonesian staff are ready to assist 24 hours a day together with Medical Director Dr. Donna Moniaga, who oversees her dedicated International medical team.
This superb international standard medical facility is conveniently located on the roundabout opposite Duty Free Galeria Shopping Arcade, and less than 10 minutes from Bali Dynasty Resort and the International airport.
When travelling to Bali we advise you to check your travel insurance is valid, or indeed you have travel insurance to avoid the probability of costly medical bills in the event of an accident.
Its also worth noting that when you use rental vehicles in Bali, or indeed anywhere in Indonesia your Insurance will not cover you unless you have a valid Indonesia drivers license.

IPRC
|
Top |

During any emergency proper and reliable communication is a major factor to assist with any situation. Mobile phone systems are unreliable and can break down during an emergency situation.
Usually the most reliable mode of communication during an emergency is VHF or UHF radio communication.
Bali Dynasty Resort is now a Member of IPRC, or the 'Integrated Police Radio Community'.
IPRC is a relatively new initiative that links businesses throughout South Bali directly with the Kuta Police via UHF radio. The system is geared to provide reliable communications during emergencies as well as better accessibility of regular police assistance. The integrated police radio community enables its members to link to the Kuta Police Station 24 hours a day. Regular round calls provide situation updates – assisting the police to anticipate problems before they arise and to exchange security and safety related information without delays throughout Southern Bali.
The system enables the police to provide better services to the community and become more customer friendly. It is also a trust building tool. At the same time Bali’s business community can call for assistance without any delays with a push of a button..
Members also receive regular training covering security related subjects such as police radio etiquette, crime scene management and Security Guard training.
What it means for Bali Dynasty Resort is direct and priority access to the Police and other IPRC members 24/7, also Crisis safe communication and special Police training to our staff resulting in closer ties to the Police department.

Charity Update

On the 17th August some of the Bali Dynasty Management team visited Pengalusan, one of the hamlets in East Bali the Bali Dynasty supports through the East Bali Poverty Project.
The occasion was the Children’s Indonesian Independence day party that they put on for all their families and sponsors. There are fun sports activities between the different schools and each school presents a cabaret show.
We left Bali Dynasty and headed North East towards Kintamani on a cool crisp clear day for the 2 hour journey.
The scenery is stunning with the mighty Mount Agung dominating the landscape. The Children had set up their sports and stage area at a dry river bed as they do each year.
We arrived just in time for the flag raising ceremony with all the children dressed in their school uniforms standing in orderly lines saluting their flag and singing their national anthem. All very formal, but very moving.
After the formalities the sports activities began with sack racing, cracker eating and a few other traditional games. Then we all moved to the stage area where we were treated to cabaret shows from the different schools. We saw how creative the children were and indeed how aware they were of things going on around them as one cabaret show was about Human trafficking, another about how the environment is being harmed by over development then a special song the children had written for Bali Dynasty, in the middle of the song was a spoken part where they said “You will never ever realize how many lives you have changed with your help (donations) it brought tears to our eyes, it was hard not to show our emotion, even if it was in front of everyone. A memorable moment.
Some of the Children’s art was also on display, some of the drawings were breathtaking, so much colour. Before their only topic was landscapes featuring Mount Agung, but now there were a few paintings of city streets and global topics, showing the Children’s now widening view of life.
You can help our Charity effort by supporting the ‘One Dollar to Check out’ program, donating your small change in our donation boxes around the resort, by joining the twice weekly Charity Quiz Nights in Gracie Kelly’s and purchasing Bali Dynasty Merchandise, of which a percentage is donated to Charity.

This month we look at Bali Tree Top Adventure Park near Bedugal.
65 Treetop challenges await the adventure seeker providing a truly memorable experience and amazing panoramic views. Challenges include a series of Ariel activities such as Flying Foxes, Rope Bridges and climbing challenges.
Each trail offers graded difficulty levels so as you progress from tree to tree the challenges increase and you progress at your own pace.
Trails are for Adults and Children from ages 4 and up.
The varying heights of the challenges on each trail range from 2 to 20 meters and you can experience the trail alone or as a group, or with friends or family. Throughout the entire trail you remain attached to a life-line support.
Although the park uses natural resources for its challenges the park is quite environmentally friendly featuring protective half logs to prevent cables from cutting into trees and minimize tree trunk degradation and all trail platforms are held in place using an innovative compression system to protect trees from any damage.
The park offers specially trained Patrol Guides to explain how the complete circuit works, complete safety instructions and how to use the equipment.
For bookings contact our Guest Activities Center at the hotel Lobby.

Just got back after 9 wonderful days, thank you so much Bali Dynasty for making our holiday so beautiful. The staff are wonderful, the food is great and the drinks and atmosphere just get better. This was our second trip to the Dynasty and we can't wait to get back again next year. An awesome time!
Ms. G, Australia
Hi there
Our family holiday to the Dynasty in Bali was so relaxing. After much apprehension about returning to Bali after 12 years - we were certainly put at ease upon our arrival at midnight on Monday 9 August.
When we were told of our complimentary upgrade to the Executive Suite. Initially we had booked the Studio room then moving into the Kids Suite. The Executive Suite was just amazing, the beds so comfy and the choice of pillows was great. The location of the room within the hotel was just perfect.
We all had a fantastic time around the pool, slides, restaurants, and pool bar. We also enjoyed the activities like Biggest Splash, Bingo, Tug o War, etc
We had massages whilst we were there and found them to be just amazing.
The staff at the Dynasty were all so friendly and helpful in many ways. We'll never forget our Bali holiday.
We also had the opportunity to have some amazing family photos taken by the photographer at the pool hut. The experience is one we won't forget. The photos are just gorgeous and we've had many of our friends and family comment on them.
I've friends coming to stay with you in September\October 2010. They are so looking forward to seeing the Dynasty and enjoying their holiday as much as us.
We are looking forward to our return trip perhaps July \ August of 2011. Ratni has given us her business card and has offered assistance in this matter when it comes time to book.
Thanking you and your staff at Dynasty for such an enjoyable, relaxing and memorable holiday.
Kind regards
C,M,T and J S.
