What's happening in January to March at our Resort
Bali Dynasty well prepared for complete silence
On March 22nd, the evening before Nyepi day, the Bali Dynasty guests had the opportunity to join the parade and carry the hotel's Ogoh Ogoh (a Paper Mache monster statue) which represented a bad spirit, from the front of the hotel to the beach for a ceremonial burning. Before setting off each guest was dressed in a traditional sarong sash and headband, given a traditional Arak Attack and an instrument or kitchen utensil to make as much noise as possible, the idea being to scare any bad spirits away.
The Ogoh Ogoh was carried aloft and the procession headed for the beach. The statue was burned in much grandeur to rapturous applause from the onlookers.
The Bali Dynasty staff and management joined the procession and deemed the hotel cleansed of bad spirits in readiness for Nyepi day.

19th Back to Bali Dynasty Night another great succes
On February 11th at the Italian Club in WA we held our 19th ‘Back to Bali Dynasty’ Party, our biggest Charity Fundraiser of the year!
With resounding support from our travel partners in Perth and Bali including Asia Escape Holidays, Freestyle Holidays, New Horizons, Qantas and Viva who consistently support the event. The night was a great success with just under 300 people enjoying a sumptuous rijstafel prepared by our chef and the team from the Bali Dynasty Resort.
The annual event has been the major fundraiser for the Bali Dynasty Resort Charity Effort which was established in 2000 in conjunction with the East Bali Poverty Project to give hope to over 80 impoverished Children in North Eastern Bali through education.
Everyone was entertained by a Live Band and as always the highlight of the event was the raffle; with over 140 prizes from Bali's local attractions as well as some airline tickets which were donated courtesy of Air Asia (Grand Prize pictured) and Garuda Indonesia.
Congratulations to all our Winners!
We would like to thank all of our guests in attendance for your generous support to the Raffle, we raised in excess of AU$6,300 on raffle ticket sales alone!
